1/2 day Introduction to Copper Foiling
Learn the art of copper foiling and take home a finished piece.
About the session
WHAT YOU WILL LEARN During a 3 hour class (depending on how fast you work and with a little help from me) I will guide you through the basic steps of making stained glass using the copper foil method. You will learn how to use a pattern, cut sheet glass, use a glass grinder, apply copper foil, solder a small panel, and finish your panel using lead. No experience required! WHAT YOU WILL TAKE HOME A finished stained glass piece made by YOU and made with vibrant glass colours. You will have 2 exclusive designs from which to choose from. All supplies, materials and equipment will be provided by me. Just bring your sweet self, an open mind to learn, and the bravery to break some glass! ONLY 2 SPACES AVAILABLE PER SESSION When - Wednesday or Thursday evenings 6pm - 9pm / Saturday afternoons 2pm - 5pm (please check booking diary for dates) What - Approx. 3 hour class Where - Studio F103, Wasps, Hanson Street Who - 2 students per session will learn from myself. * further details will be provided to students via email prior to workshops. **Must be 18 or older to participate. ***This is an introductory session and some of the glass will be pre-cut and foiled. ****Cancellations or changes to bookings must be made up to 24 hours before the booked as deposits may be forfeited in circumstances where students fail to attend.

Cancellation Policy: Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice are non-refundable. Up to 72 hours’ notice receives a 50% refund. More than 72 hours’ notice receives a full refund. Workshops may be rearranged where possible. Gift Voucher Policy: Gift vouchers are non-refundable and cannot be exchanged for cash or any other goods, services, or items. They are valid only for the workshop experience stated at the time of purchase.
